Steve is a senior M&A Tax professional and former Big Four Partner with 30+ years of experience serving private / public companies and PE funds in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, in and out-out-court restructurings / reorganizations, entity formation / simplification and exit planning / structuring. Steve has served as the lead M&A Partner on hundreds of transactions and significant company life events across numerous industries, including transactions ranging in size from $5M to $11B on behalf of PE funds, corporate / strategic businesses, family offices, lenders and investment banks. Steve is a solutions oriented M&A tax professional with a unique ability to assess and communicate complex technical issues while keeping the value proposition for all stakeholders top of mind. He possesses a broad range of experience and is known for delivering a strong value proposition in a highly responsible and trusted manner. Steve is a frequent speaker on M&A topics to professional groups such as the Tax Executives Institute ("TEI") and is a well know thought leader in the distressed turnaround tax space. Education/Certifications Steve earned his B.S. in Accounting from Florida Southern College. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Society of CPAs, Turnaround Management Association and American Bankruptcy Institute. |
